A
meeting of the BHS 60th Reunion Committee was held at the
Bellefonte Elks
on Wednesday,
October 12, 2011, at
2:00 PM.
At this meeting we put together
tentative arrangements for our big 60th celebration.
This
is additional information from the meeting:
a) Confirmation of the Saturday Morning Brunch (Aug.18, 2012) will be
accomplished
after our January 01,
2012 meeting.
b) Molly Sieg and Joann Wian will continue with menu and
decoration planning
for the Friday event at Nittany Country Club.
c) Ed Dyke will pursue some "entertainment" possibilities for the Friday
event (1/2 hr. max duration).
d) Beryl & Tom Widmann will prepare and up-date the
Deceased-Class-Member
Memorial Board.
e) Molly Sieg is
again planning a display board of "pictures over the years" -- all who
have vintage photo's of class members or events are requested to bring
them
along, as in the past.
f) Beryl & Tom will also prepare a "draft mailer" of the 60th
Reunion event and will
present it at the next Meeting.
Note : To keep everyone up-to-date, we'll include the Class of '52
web site address
on the mailer letter & reservation notice, and on the final program.
